Construction Progress:

The project is nearing completion of the mechanical and electrical construction phase with all mechanical and HV electrical installation complete.  Module installation is at 60% and the completion of these works along with the DC harnessing and installation of the harmonic filters represent the bulk of the remaining construction scope.  Due to the significant recent rainfall events extending from March through to July, the project is required to revisit the internal roads and drainage as construction activities through the wet conditions require rework to these elements.  The project is advancing in the completions and commissioning phase with Notifiable Exemption granted early July and full Generator Registration achieved on 23 July.

Energisation of the feeders back from the substation to the Inverters has progressed, along with the field hot commissioning works to the inverters and trackers.  The Suntop Generator is scheduled to commence with Hold Point testing in early August.

The project has commenced with perimeter planting along the northern and western boundaries.  The 6 month independent environmental audit as conditioned in the Development Consent was undertaken in July  Please refer to the audit report provided for detail.

The project remains on schedule with target completion of all construction and commissioning activities in November 2021.

In June 2021, the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment approved OOHW. This is to allow extended working Hours at project site.
